Bossa — the name meaning “Kiss” in Arabic, was set up in 2012 by the Art Director, Wendy, for her passion and obsession to the dancing art.
Learning dancing from the age of 3, Wendy has been indulging and advancing her dancing skills for 30 years. Now since she travels to many festivals around the world, and given that the performing art to many local dancers now are still emphasized on showing techniques, yet short of over all perspective which should also include the costume and style, music selection, choreography and movements design, and the connotation in the dance, Wendy has devoted herself to promote the performing art in all directions.
Except for techniques, a dancer should have advanced knowledge in dancing, such as the history, the anatomy of movements, the creativity, the music, teaching skills, outfit styles, and the performing art. Therefore, even when leaning oriental dance or folklore dance, a dancer should study the cultural background of the dance, in case the choreography conveys incorrect meaning of the music.

We expect ourselves to provide consulting service to dancers in all directions related to dancing, for its also our belief that —

And that’s the reason why Wendy always travel around the world to the local factories to understand and check the producing of our costumes and products, and also for the quality control of the products which could be more closer to the needs of dancers.
